Songthaews, meaning "two benches," a common form of mass transit througout SE Asia. All they are are little Toyota pickups with wooden benches in the back. They work like a short-range bus service throughout BKK, and will shuttle you between cities that are relatively near each other in places like Cambodia, Burma, Lao PDR, et al.
